| Complaint | On Thursday 26 November I went to the Blue Route Ster Kinerkor to watch the 7.30 show of the Devil wears Prada.
I sat in the back row.
A short time into the movie my hand bag on the seat next to me fell over, luckily it was the strap was around my wrist and I thought nothing of it. a few minutes later a patron two seats down screamed as she realised she was being robbed. A young boy of about 11 was hiding in the space behind the back row of seats and was escorted by the patrons and security to the manager's office. It emerged that he had robbed a number of hand bags, that this was a problem at Blue Route and that generally patrons did not want to lay charges and the manager said that the cinerma is powerless to do anything about the problem as the thieves buy tickets.
My question are"if this is a problem, what is physically being done at Blue Route to block off the space behind the back seats so that thieves cannot crawl in there?"
Is Ster Kinekor going to only take responsibility for theatre security when one of these thieves produces a knife and harms a patron?
I would really like some answers. |
