| Complaint | During January 2006 I set out to purchase a new vehicle and decided on an Audi A4, 2006 model. This was done at Audi Centurion dealership.
Realising a couple of weeks ago that I have not that I have not yet received a notice to renew my license disk, I went to the Licensing Department (Marlboro) and to my absolute horror learnt that the new vehicle I thought I purchased a year ago was not registered in my name! I therefore could not obtain a new license disk. The department provided me with the registration detail and it also became clear that even though the Audi was not in my name, it was also registered as a USED vehicle.
The situation as of today is:
I purchased a new Audi that was not registered in my name.
The vehicle upon the incorrect registration was listed as a used vehicle.
I am without a car, with various issues regarding ownership, insurance etc
I am paying a monthly installment towards a car that is not registered in my name
I immediately contacted, and physically went to the dealership. There I was informed that I was mistaken, and if this were correct I would not have been the mistake of the dealership at all. The general feeling I got was that this was an inconvenience and also impossible that it was real. Currently the DP informed me via other staff that he does not want to talk to me and he considers the matter not a problem of his.
