08 April 2008 - SAA Call Centre (SAA)
I am writing this complain as I wait on SAA's line (0861359722) to be helped. I have been on hold for over 14 minutes already & no one has answered. I want to confirm a reservation - how on earth can SAA provide such appalling service? This is shocking SAA - sort it out. A basic expectation of your customers is that calls should be answered timeously. 16 minutes now. I give up....

ComplaintIn August last year I was phond by a telesales and applied for the amazing vouchers, I was told by Shahieda the customer services that if im not happy with it I can always cancel my subscription later. After two months of receiving nothing at all I called them to be told one must retrieve the vouchers from their website. After doing this I found the vouchers to be of no use to me so in December 2005 I called to cancel my subscription, to be told by the gentleman that none of themanagers are available they are on leave and will be back in the New Year, but I did ask that he note this. In Jan I called back to be told I cant cancell it as it is a 12 month subscription, after throwing a tantrum I told them I was told I could cancel at any time. I was then contacted by Angela who has no record of the tape for my subscription, I immediately ordered that they stop taking money from my account, Then in Jan and Feb money went off my account and I was told there is a 30 day notice to cancell so that would be my last debit order. Even though I had contacted them in December. In March another debit order went off. I contacted them and was told by Shahieda they are so sorry for their mistake and I must email them my bank statement as proof and that they would reimburse me on 17 April as the company pays back to the clients on the 17th. It is now 25 July and I have not received a single cent from them. I contacted them today and was helped by Lauren, I informed them that if I dont have the money back in 48 hours it will leave me no choice but to have my attorney proceed with legal action. I was told sorry but Shahieda doesnt work there anymore.....go figure.....and that they cant have it in my bank in 48 hours as they bank with the mercantile bank of lisbon. I politely told them i dont care, and when i sent my bank statemnet shahieda did still work there and nothing was done, they want me too now resend them the emails. I also picked up on another website that they are not registered with CIPRO or for VAT with SARS....and I cant find them on a company search performed as I was hoping I could get hold of a director...something fishy is definitely on the go...PLEASE WARN ALL YOUR FRIENDS!!!!
