| Complaint | For the price of Woolworths food the customer expects the best quality. My husband and I bought a pack of lamb from Woolworths MacKeurtan Avenue on Sunday - at R51 per kg. The pack consisted of chops, neck, ribs and stewing pieces. On returning home and unpacking it into smaller packs, we discovered that underneath the top layer of quality meat, were fatty ribs and stewing pieces consisting of bone, fat and very little else.
At Pick 'n Pay a similar pack was R45 per kg and the meat looked just as good. Woolworths' quality is slipping. We PAY for good quality. |
