| Complaint | With Eskom's haphazard power cuts of late in the Cape, my television tube has now blown. Through our business we have tried to wade through Eskom's lies about when the power will be restored fully and whether or not their thumbsuck, which they call a timetable, has any substance. Both the lies and thumbsuck leave one very frustrated.
As I am sure most of the people working at Eskom have TV's, I would hope they could realise the sensitve nature of some electrical products and how well they respond to sudden power surges and cuts. If Eskom had any means of warning us when the power would be out, and sticking to these timetables (should I be laughing so loud now?) we could accomodate for these sensitive natures and turn them off in due time.
But they dont and didn't, and now I sit with a blown tube!
Pls respond Eskom, and tell me where I can submit a claim for a replacement unit! Or alternatively just stcik with the "we dont care!!!!" attitude.
Oh and by the way, internet works on electricity, so when the power is out and people are phoning your Help(???)Line, it does not help (???) to say "alternatively you can go onto the internet at www...................."
P.S. I have written this very slowly, because I realise that you probably cant read very fast.....
