| Complaint | Due to the vast number of power issues these past few days, a number of traffic lights are out and due to most peoples' inability to navigate a dead set of robots as a normal 4-way stop causes MASSIVE traffic congestion.
I'm not here to bitch about these people, my real issue is with this traffic cop about a km from one of these dead robots. This particular incident occurred on Durban road in Bellville just after the N1 turnoff heading towards Voortrekker road on Wednesday morning. Now here is the scenario: Dead traffic lights, and a $&#ing cop trapping people a kilometer down the road! So when one finally gets through the congestion surrounding this robot, you might be a bit inclined to make use of this dual-lane open road (with a limit of 60km/h), making us perfect targets for this lazy prick! What does this ultimately tell us? The traffic dept does not give a %^#$ about helping us! Instead of standing at this traffic light directing traffic this greedy cop was just down the road building up a nice little bonus for himself. Thank you traffic dept, for showing us you dont actually give a crap about us, only about filling your pockets. |
